1836 Matron Head Large Cent for sale. The coin pictured is the exact coin you will receive. The date is extremely faint, but can be deciphered with a good eye (and the knowledge that the shape of Liberty's bust is the "matron head modified" variety that was only struck from 1835-1839). It has been holed through the center at some point, and the hole was plugged. It also has some damaged surfaces on both sides.
