Well-Worn Entry Level coin,
Has light graffiti scratches at top of obverse, and old light cleaning.
** Very Rare Variety, R5, (Rarity Level 5),  Redbook estimates a population of only 100 to 150.
Attibution:
The final 3 pictures in this listing are excerpts from the USA on-line coinbook, depicting attribution for this variety. (You do not get the coin or coins shown in the final 3 pictures. You will receive the coin shown in the first 7 pictures of this listing).  In picture 5 of this listing, I have red-circled an Obverse star, and note Liberty's crown does not point directly at this star, which is an attribute of a Large Star variety. (Her crown point directly at a star in a Small Star variety). In picture 7, I have red-arrowed the larger gap between the 'A' in 'TAT' of STATES. And, note the berry next to the first 'T in STATES aligns to the
left side
of the 'T', an attribute of the MEDIUM Letters variety. (In the Large Letters variety, this same berry aligns with the
center
of
first 'T in STATES).
And... The N5 variety is the ONLY variety where the last 'S' in STATES aligns well right of the last leaf tip at the top of the wreath (Picture 7) . The coin pictured has this characteristic.
