    Description

An authentic MS-62 BN example of 1817 N-9 with Mouse R2 large cent. Mint red adheres to both obverse and reverse. A beautiful example of a prized variety with the Mouse. An intriguing variety with the mouse on top of Ms. Liberty’s head. Perhaps you remember the old EAC cartoon with an alarmed cat in front of a man looking at his coins and exclaiming “Gosh Harry, a  Mouse!” The mouse has more value than the standard variety without its presence.
